Talk at St Ann’s, Stretford

On 12th September,I had the pleasure of being able to update a group of CAFOD supporters at St Ann’s, Stretford concerning the drought and continuing crisis in Easy African. Here you can see a photo of them having signed the cards for CAFOD’s latest campaign – Don’t drop the ball on climate change. It seemed appropriate to look at climate change as well as the crisis in East Africa since the two are not unrelated. The parish of St Ann’s has also decided to have a box at the back of church to collect old ink cartridges and mobile phones to recycle. They bring £1 and £3 for CAFOD respectively and are a way of giving without spending!! Thanks to Stephen Blatch for organising this event.
