CAFOD Half Day of Recollection

On Saturday 15th October, the CAFOD group and Eucharistic Ministers from Brownedge St. Mary’s were joined by members of CAT N.W. team and CAFOD members from other areas, about 30 in all.We shared a half day of recollection led by Margaret and Sue from CAFOD Salford. Fr. George celebrated Mass for us at 9.30, followed by exposition until 10.20. After a quick cup of tea, we listened to excellent reflections on parts of the Our Father given by Margaret and Sue, followed by quiet time which was appreciated and respected by all present.

At 1pm, having experienced some time out from our busy lives and everyone responding positively to the spiritual input of the morning, we left to go our separeate ways uplifted and renewed.

Thank you to Margaret and Sue for taking the time to be with us all at St. Mary’s, Bamber Bridge.
