Mass of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the work of CAFOD over the past 50 years

On Sunday, 24th June 2012 at 11:00 am in St Wilfrid’s Catholic Church, Preston, there will be a Mass of Thanksgiving and Celebration for the work of CAFOD over the past 50 years. This will be followed by an afternoon at Lee House, Preston. All are welcome!

The Mass will be celebrated by The Right Reverend Terence Brain, Bishop of Salford and The Right Reverend Michael Campbell, Bishop of Lancaster. After the Mass a light lunch will be provided, which will then be followed by talks by three guest speakers.

The first speaker will be Clare Dixon, CAFOD’s Head of Latin America and Caribbean, and the next two speakers will be Emma and Amy, CAFOD’s ‘Step into the Gap’ volunteers who will discuss their experience with CAFOD over the past year.

Finally, at 3pm an afternoon tea will be provided and there will be a chance to socialise.
