A “Food Matters” Conference is to be held on 16th November 2013 at the University of Chester organised by the Chester World Development Forum (CWDF) . This conference promises to be an enlightening and interesting day exploring the issues and responses surrounding food insecurity in the developing world. Key speakers include Patrick Mulvany, Senior Policy Advisor for Practical Action and Dr Julia Wright, Deputy Director of the Centre for Agro-ecology and Food Security at Coventry University.
CAFOD is one of the founder members of CWDF which is an umbrella group of all local groups working or interested in overseas development and global justice.
