Fr Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Blasco in Manchester

A big thank you to Fr Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Blasco, CAFOD’s partner in Guatemala, for coming to see us in Manchester! As part of his 17-day visit with CAFOD to the UK, Fr Nacho stopped over in Manchester on 9 and 10 November to give a talk and celebrate two masses, one at Salford Cathedral Conference Centre and the other at the Holy Name. He shared his stories with us on what life is really like in a country where food is scarce and climate change is a daily challenge. Fr Nacho will be returning to Guatemala tomorrow. We wish him a safe journey back and continued success in his support of the people of Santa Maria Chiquimula. Buen Viaje Padre!
