CAFOD Salford presented the CAFOD Salford’s School Action for Global Justice Award to three students from Brownedge St Mary’s High School, Bamber Bridge. The students, Thomas Hocking, Joey Bamford and James Knell were given the Award on behalf of the 24-strong group of students at the School during the Annual Prize-giving Ceremony. The group has had some amazing successes in engaging people and getting involved in CAFOD’s awareness raising, fundraising and campaigning work over the year. Chaplain Carmel Wanless and Diocesan Manager Ged Edwards are looking on proudly.
