Students enjoy cakes for CAFOD
The Justice and Peace Group at Loreto High School, Chorlton, had a magnificent bake sale to raise money for CAFOD.
The group got the idea from hearing about CAFOD’s Lent campaign, which focuses on water, hygiene and sanitation in Uganda. They heard about Proscovia (aged 14) who has access to clean water now due to funds from CAFOD enabling her village to repair and look after the borehole themselves.

Queues for cakes!
The evidence of the popularity of the bake sale is seen in the queues of students waiting to buy and over £104 was raised. Thank you to those who baked and those who ate…
