Celebrating our education volunteer coordinator, Briege Sivills

Briege has been an education volunteer for CAFOD since 2013, and in 2016 took up the role of Education Volunteer Coordinator.

Briege has really helped develop schools volunteering in Salford Diocese, enthusing the team of volunteers and working closely with many schools to deliver their requests. We’ve seen more volunteers visiting schools than ever! As well as organising visits and supporting the other volunteers, Briege continues to visit schools herself, and shares this experience with other volunteers.

Briege comes into the Volunteer Centre in Salford once a week, and always bring joy and enthusiasm to the day. Even when working on the administrative aspects of her role she does it with a care and a passion that comes from her love for our brothers and sisters around the world, and her passion in sharing that with children and young people.

Thank you Briege for all your hard work which is so appreciated by all of us, the volunteers and schools that you work with.
